The top drawstring compartment provides enough storage space for all your journey’s essentials in the backcountry.

Hike, trek or travel with ease and mobility in our ActivZone™ harness system – built to provide targeted comfort with wide, padded waistbelt and adjustable contoured shoulder straps for even weight distribution. In addition, a padded dedicated hydration pocket lets you comfortably carry up to a 2-liter water reservoir (not included).

All Weather AW Cover™ protects gear from rain, snow and dust.

Pack Light, Travel Light!

This is a really awesome backpack… if you want to travel light with minimal gear. The removable camera compartment is large enough for a small mirrorless camera (I’ve got a Fuji X-T2) with a kit lens or similar plus additional space for maybe two smaller lenses. The bottom section where the camera insert sits could probably hold a larger lens between the insert and the top part of the bag. It’s definitely built for a small, compact kit. Larger cameras might be more problematic. Side access is OK - getting the camera in and out is fairly easy. You would have to undo velcro dividers and/or remove the entire camera insert in order to get to your other lenses.

I do like that the upper part of the bag has dedicated space that can hold your hiking gear - lots of room for a jacket, lunch, and other essentials. The water bag insert is a nice feature. Lots of pockets and straps for additional gear and a water bottle on the outside of the bag. However, in keeping with the small size I would rather use my bigger bag if I needed to carry more gear - this pack is designed for light and fast hiking/activity. Strapping extra stuff on kind of defeats the purpose.

I can definitely see using this as a light, day-hiking bag where I wanted to travel light with a camera with lens and an additional lens. And at the price point (on sale) it’s a good buy. Would recommend for use with a small compact mirrorless camera and smaller lenses.
