The MRN-W12S4-IB-L is optimized for infinte-baffle marine installations, using the open space behind the mounting panel instead of requiring a traditional subwoofer enclosure. Its flexible design also supports use in a properly engineered sealed enclosure when the installation calls for one. Ported enclosures are not recommended, helping keep system planning simple and performance consistent.
