Nightwave is an ultra low-light marine navigational camera built around SIONYX’s patented Black Silicon CMOS sensor. It allows mariners of all levels to easily spot obstacles and debris in moonless starlight without white light or expensive thermal cameras – navigating safely, avoiding collisions, and maximizing time on the water. With flexible mounting options and easy setup, Nightwave connects to other hardware via analog output, displaying clear color digital night vision.

Incredible night vision on the water. This increased the time we are able to spend on the water. No longer need to hurry back before the sun sets.

This is a most if you like to boat at night!

The quality of this product is amazing. Very easy to install, even though, a professional installer is recommended. I do own a Flir camera too, so I have them on as a combo. You cant beat it. Get it, you wont be des appointed

It was a neat idea but it wouldn’t turn to look at something and then when it would, it would try to go in circles. Sent it back

Works great, but not for full speed navigation.

The low light tech is amazing, but markers and buoys are barely noticeable at 30 knots. You can see them, but they are hard to differentiate from the water reflections because the image gets pixelated in low light conditions. You can see them as you get closer, but by then you have to perform an emergency turn. Infrared is superior because anything that is even a few degrees different than the water sticks out like a sore thumb. With a 12" screen, I have to slow down to 15 knots (or turn on a spot light) to navigate safely. Other boats with any kind of light on them really stand out though. This is not a radar replacement but it definitely is a great add-on to one.
